News By Stu Kelly / July 27, 2023 Earlier today, Tyler Childers officially detailed plans for his new studio album, Rustin’ In The Rain, which will be released on September 8 via Hickman Holler Records/RCA Records. The Kentucky native released the album’s first single, “In Your Love,” with an accompanying music video. Silas House directed the music video and developed the story idea with Jason Kyle Howard. Childers has already been busy road-testing his new material, including performing the title track at Warren Haynes’ Christmas Jam event in December last year (check out our event coverage here). “This is a collection of songs I playfully pieced together as if I was pitching a group of songs to Elvis,” says Childers. “Some covers, one co-write, and some I even wrote in my best (terrible) Elvis impersonation as I worked around the farm and kicked around the house. I hope you enjoy listening to this album as much as I enjoyed creating it. Thank you.
