Sin City is about to witness an unprecedented musical extravaganza as the iconic jam band Phish confirms a four-night run at The Sphere in Las Vegas. After months of speculation, the announcement was made in a visually stunning display on The Sphere’s massive exterior screens on Wednesday night.

Scheduled for April 18, 19, 20, and 21, 2024, each of Phish’s performances at The Sphere promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime audio-visual experience. The band, known for its improvisational prowess, will deliver completely unique setlists and visuals for each show, solidifying their commitment to creating unforgettable moments for fans. The Sphere was designed to have a fully programmable exterior and interior, allowing for dynamic displays and a wide range of customizable configurations. It features state-of-the-art audio and visual technology, making it a one-of-a-kind entertainment destination in Las Vegas.

In a press release circulated by The Sphere on Thursday morning, it was revealed that these concerts mark the beginning of an exclusive relationship between Phish and the state-of-the-art entertainment arena. Interestingly, these will be the only Phish shows at The Sphere in 2024, closing the door on a potential return for Halloween next year.

Phish is the second act ever confirmed to grace The Sphere’s stage, following U2, which is currently undergoing a 36-date residency set to run through February 2024. Despite the venue’s mission to host extended stays by single artists, Phish’s comparatively brief run aligns seamlessly with the band’s history of captivating audiences with their unique performances.

The decision to perform at The Sphere is no surprise, given Phish’s history of extended runs at iconic venues like Madison Square Garden. Phish guitarist/vocalist Trey Anastasio, who played a crucial role in the rollout of Sphere’s innovative technologies, expressed his excitement, stating, “From the moment we first heard about Sphere and its potential, we’ve been dreaming up ways to bring our show to this breathtaking canvas. We’re thrilled to present this completely unique experience to Phish fans,” said Anastasio in a press release.

The Sphere run adds to Phish’s impressive lineup of special engagements in 2024, including a return to Riviera Maya, Mexico, in February and the band’s first festival since 2015 in Dover, DE, in August.

The ticket request period for these historic Phish shows at The Sphere is underway, running until Monday, December 11th, at 9:00 a.m. PT / 12:00 p.m. ET. General public ticket sales will commence on Friday, December 15th, at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET. Travel packages are available starting Friday, December 1st, at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET. Complete ticketing information can be found on Phish’s website here.
