Umphrey’s McGee Announces Extensive 2024 Tour Featuring Drummer Kris Myers’ Return

Umphrey’s McGee, the progressive rock and jam band known for their spellbinding musical performances, has just announced an extensive tour for 2024. The band’s tour will span from January to April and will see the return of drummer Kris Myers to the stage after taking some time off for shoulder surgery. Fans can expect a series of unforgettable multi-night shows, with the band hitting cities across the United States.

The tour starts on January 11, 2024, with a performance at The Fillmore Charlotte, followed by a series of shows in Raleigh, Norfolk, Richmond, and Sayreville (New Jersey). The tour’s first leg will culminate in a three-night run at Brooklyn Steel from January 19 to 21.

The second leg of Umphrey’s McGee’s early 2024 tour begins in Cleveland on January 31. Over nearly three weeks, the band will make stops in Pittsburgh, Columbus, Detroit, Bloomington (Indiana), Knoxville, Newport (Kentucky), St. Louis, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and Jim Thorpe (Pennsylvania) from February 1 to 18. Highlights of this leg include two nights at Washington D.C.’s 9:30 Club (February 14 and 15) and two nights at Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia (February 16 and 17).

After a short break, the tour continues with three nights at the Belly Up Aspen from March 8 to 10. The band will then embark on a West Coast swing, starting in Oregon with shows in Eugene on March 14 and Portland on March 15 and 16. Fans in Seattle can catch Umphrey’s McGee at The Showbox @ The Market on March 17, and the band will make its way to Stateline, Nevada’s Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, on March 21. California is next on the itinerary, with performances in San Francisco on March 22, Los Angeles on March 23, and San Diego on March 24.

In April, the band will return to Higher Ground in Burlington, Vermont, for shows on April 24 and 25. The tour will conclude with the highly anticipated UMBowl event at Boston’s House Of Blues on April 26 and 27, where fans can expect a unique and interactive musical experience.

For fans eager to secure their tickets early, an Umphrey’s Presale will begin on Wednesday, October 18, at 10 a.m. local time. This presale will include special umVIP packages for the Brooklyn and Aspen shows. For the general public, tickets will go on sale this Friday, October 20, at 10 a.m. local time.
