The music video was produced by an all-star cast of Charleston creatives at Seamless Pictures. The project showcases the band’s musical and creative acumen alongside their flair for all things sardonic. The new number features their stratospheric combination of pulsing drums, sultry vocals, and shimmering synths. A surprisingly spry rap verse from multi-talented drummer John Pope ties the track together, culminating in a piece that can only be described as an auditory ode to automotive love lust. “When I was in college, I drove a Hyundai Sonata. The car in the song was inspired by this car and my roommate’s Ford Taurus, which was pretty shitty. I found “Ford Taurus” to flow much more smoothly off the tongue than “Hyundai Sonata.” The band will ignite multiple notable festival and venue stages, including a hometown throw-down at 420 Charleston and appearances at Summer Camp Music Festival and Mountain Music Festival.
