The anticipation among fans of The Disco Biscuits has reached a fever pitch as the renowned jam band announces an expansion of their highly anticipated Why We Dance Tour 2024. With new headlining tour dates and festival appearances, the band is set to ignite stages across the United States this summer, promising an electrifying experience for music enthusiasts.

The latest leg of the tour features a diverse array of destinations, including renowned venues and vibrant festival settings. Among the highlights is a rare Tractorbeam show showcasing the band’s versatility and penchant for experimentation.

Kicking off the journey is a show in Selbyville, Delaware, on July 11, followed by a tantalizing pre-party at Atlantic City on July 12 for the Peach At The Beach festival. The tour then takes a southern swing, with performances lined up in Richmond, Virginia (July 13), Wilmington, North Carolina (July 14), and Isle of Palms, South Carolina (July 15). The Disco Biscuits will also grace the Secret Dreams Music & Arts Festival stage and the Great South Bay Music Festival, adding their signature flair to these iconic events.

Pennsylvania’s Elements Festival emerges as another pivotal stop on the tour, with dates set for August 29 and 30. It will also host a two-night spectacle at Weekend At The Cave in Murphysboro, Illinois, on August 31 and September 1.

Colorado beckons next, with Dillon and Bellvue hosting previously announced shows. The tour culminates with newly confirmed concerts in Salt Lake City on September 11 and Livingston, Montana, from September 13 to 15. Of particular note is the September 13 performance, where the band will transform into Tractorbeam, delivering live renditions of house and disco tracks with the aid of Ableton Live.

Reflecting on the tour, the Biscuits’ keyboardist Aron Magner expressed his excitement: “After last year’s majestic 3-night run at Pine Creek Lodge, we had to find the time to return. It’s one of the country’s most beautiful venues and areas, with one of the most intimate stages we’ve played in recent years. We can’t wait to return with two nights of Biscuits AND the Montana debut of our alter-ego, TRACTORBEAM!”
