News Tour Announcements By Karina Verlan / August 9, 2017 Chicago groove rockers, Umphrey's McGee, have recently released their Fall 2017 tour dates, including the postponed Northerly Island show and their Halloween dates. In addition, they have just released their plans for the 2017-2018 NYE run in Denver, CO.Due to inclement weather, Umphrey's hometown show at Chicago’s Huntington Bank Pavilion was cancelled on July 21, and has been postponed to September 23. All past tickets will be honored. UM will perform a special acoustic set on the new date, as a special gift to fans.Fall tour will kick off two nights in Port Chester, New York at The Capitol Theater on October 20-21. UM will be at the Brooklyn Bowl right after on October 22, before their Halloween run in St. Paul, MN at The Palace Theater, October 27-28. An Umph Halloween tradition - UM started debuting mash-ups on Halloween back in 2008, including tracks like "Electric Avenue to Hell," and others we saw on their 2016 album Zonkey.This New Year's Eve Umphrey's McGee will return to Denver on December 29 -31 at the Fillmore Auditorium. UM was in their hometown Chicago for last year's NYE run, whereas the previous four years they alternated between Denver and Atlanta for ringing in the new year.
