Still, Wilson shared the news with fans through a video posted on his Instagram account, where he appeared visibly bandaged and under medical care.

In the video, Wilson revealed that the injuries were caused by an explosion, which resulted in burns to his face and arms. Slipknot quickly released a statement regarding Wilson’s condition, confirming that he had sustained burns across his body. The band emphasized that Wilson is recovering with his family by his side and remains committed to joining the group on their upcoming tour dates. “Our brother Sid Wilson was in an accident today and sustained burns across his body. He’s recovering with his family and will still join us on stage at Rocklahoma next weekend. He thanks everyone for the well wishes and will see you all soon.” Wilson is dating Ozzy Osbourne‘s daughter, Kelly Osbourne, and they have a son together. 

Wilson’s hospitalization comes just days before Slipknot is set to perform at Rocklahoma on September 1. The band is also gearing up for the second leg of their 25th Anniversary “Here Comes The Pain” tour, which kicks off on September 7th in Auburn, WA, with supporting acts Knocked Loose and Vended.
