News By Stu Kelly / December 15, 2021 Goose made an official announcement today that they have to reschedule their annual Goosemas show due to a COVID-19 exposure with a member of their touring party. Goosemas was originally scheduled for Saturday, December 18th, 2021 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. The show has now been moved to February 26, 2022 at the same venue. Goosemas has quickly become a fan-favorite celebration for the rapidly ascending Connecticut natives. Now in the eighth year of its installment, the Mohegan Sun Arena is set to be the largest venue to host the annual tradition to date. The band released a statement in a social media post: “We are absolutely heartbroken to relay the news that we have to reschedule this Saturday’s Goosemas show at Mohegan Sun Arena to Saturday, February 26th. Though the band and crew have been following all safety precautions, a member of our touring party tested positive for COVID-19 and we must take every precaution to put the health and safety of our fans and crew first.” All previously purchased tickets for Goosemas will be honored at the new date. There will also be a 30-day Ticketmaster refund window for those who cannot make the new date. Fans are instructed to contact the point of purchase for refunds.
